Position: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN I

Location/Department: Engineering (Department No. 7161)

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • This Electrical Technician position is an entry level assembly position for an opening within our Engineering Team. The candidate will be primarily involved with the electrical commissioning and support of all product lines manufactured within our facility.

Essential:

  • Two years technical degree or electrician with relevant experience.
  • AutoCAD and computer skills are a must.

Desirable:

  • Develops wiring schematics, layout drawings and BOM’s from concept drawings, sketches or mark-ups.
  • Assist in machine commissioning both in-house and in the field.
  • Interface between Engineering and Electrical Assembly area.
  • Coordinate Engineering Lab Environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with a cognizant engineer to create documentation in a timely fashion using AutoCAD in compliance with Bartell Engineering standards.
  • Debug and troubleshoot electrical systems and compliance testing and perform field installations as required
  • Support Manufacturing in answering questions and solving minor problems.
  • Maintain housekeeping in Lab area and stage equipment based on upcoming projects working withPTL
