Position:                                           MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER I

Location/ Department:                 Rome, New York / Assembly (Department No. 6688)

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Experience

• This Mechanical Assembler I position is an entry-level assembly position for an opening within our Mechanical Assembly Team. The candidate will be primarily involved with the mechanical assembly of all product lines manufactured within our facility.

Essential:

• Two years of verifiable experience in Mechanical or Maintenance fields.
• Fluency in English

Desirable:

• Knowledge of rigging and large material handling.
• Assembly of industrial equipment
• Machine Shop knowledge

Responsibilities:

• To be able to read and interpret complex assembly prints
• Ability to use hand tools and interpret technical information relating to mechanical construction.
• Basic knowledge of industrial pneumatics symbols and operation
