James Oot joined Bartell Machinery Systems as the VP of Finance in June 2021. In his new role, James is responsible for directing and coordinating all financial planning and budget management functions for the Company. As a member of Bartell’s Leadership Team, James also shares the responsibility of defining, leading, and executing Bartell’s long term strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining Bartell, James was the VP of Finance at Hiab North America, a $500M business segment under Hiab, Inc., a leading supplier of “on-road” lead handling equipment and associated intelligent connected systems. As the VP of Finance, James was responsible for the Hiab North American Financial Leadership team and lead the development of the North American Shared Services Center. Prior to this executive role at Hiab, James was the Regional Credit Manager, Division Controller, and eventually VP of Finance for Beacon Roofing Supply, a $7B publicly traded company with over 500 branches in the US and Canada.
James received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics with a minor in Finance from Cornell University. James also honorably served in the United States Naval Reserves in the Supply Corps community.
