Rome, NY – Bartell Machinery Systems, L.L.C. (“Bartell”), a leading manufacturer of industrial machinery solutions, is proud to announce its national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women President’s Educational Organization-NY (WPEO-NY), a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

Bartell has been awarded the certification based on the ownership, control, and operation of Bartell and its parent company, The Heico Companies, L.L.C. (“Heico”), by Emily Heisley Stoeckel.

“We are thrilled to receive this certification by WBENC,” said Emily Heisley Stoeckel.  “This certification will allow us to become a better partner to many of our customers by helping them to meet their supplier diversity requirements.”  Emily provides strategic direction to the organization and leads Heico’s Board of Directors.  She has devoted more than 20 years to the growth and development of Heico’s diverse portfolio of companies, including Bartell.

WBENC’s national standard of certification, implemented by the WPEO-NY, is a meticulous process involving an in-depth review of the business that is seeking certification.  The certification process is designed to confirm that the business seeking certification is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
