James leads project execution for all capital orders with overall responsibility and authority for project performance throughout the project life cycle. He is customer-facing, ensuring the scope of every capital project is well defined and understood by all parties, and that the customer is kept informed of all project milestones from order placement through equipment sign-off. James ensures capital equipment orders are fulfilled on-time, on budget, and the finished product meets quality and performance specifications as outlined in the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) standards. James has an in depth understanding of the financial details of each assigned project and will work cross functionally with Bartell departments to ensure contractual and customer expectations are met.
Prior to his role as Project Manager, James was a Regional Sales Manager for Tire & Rubber for Bartell. He was originally hired in September 2010 as a Sales Engineer for the Tire & Rubber market segment, and for a period also assumed capital sales responsibilities for Bartell’s Oil & Gas business segment. During his tenure at Bartell, James has held responsibilities in financial forecasting, high value contract negotiations, contract compliance, strategic planning, and maintaining client relationships worldwide. James has unique breadth of industrial process and technical sales knowledge in both the Tire & Rubber and Oil & Gas industries, in both domestic and international markets. The majority of James’ professional career has been with Bartell.
James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo and has participated and achieved a multitude of Sales Training over the course of his tenure with the company.
