42" Caterpuller
Improved design for 2018!
Built on the legacy of proven performance of the Bartell LC series of caterpullers comes our newest design. By incorporating the most modern features this belt/cleat style caterpuller delivers superior line control with unmatched durability and performance while reducing maintenance. Featuring independently driven tracks designed to alleviate the potential of speed mismatch and a simplified servo-controlled drivetrain our engineers have designed with high run cost-competitive production environment in mind. With integrated modern controls operation is easier than ever before. From products that require a large haul off force or to the production of a sensitive product, Bartell has the right equipment for any application.
Roll Forms Stranding Systems
The Roll Form Stranding process combines the advantages of two highly productive processes, namely: Roll Forming and Single Twist or Double Twist Stranding. These two systems are forged together to create a high-speed continuous manufacturing cell that produces high fill factor Unilay concentric circular or shaped conductors all while using a single input wire which can reduce inventory and maximize the production of wire drawing equipment.
The Roll Form Strander program includes equipment designed to accommodate reels up to 2240mm (84in) and can produce a variety of products which include:
- Copper and aluminum stranded conductors between #8AWG and 600kcm or 10mm2 and 300mm2
- Aluminum Conductors Steel Reinforced (ACSR) using a single steel wire core
- All Aluminum and Aluminum alloy Conductors (AAC & AAAC)
- Cabling of insulated conductors
